Uglyradio (775), Greenville, South Carolina, USA Oct 29, 2009 Golden pour...Fruity sweet aroma...Crisp carbonation...Medium body...Sweet flavor of fruit and honey...Good stuff... bhensonb (4187), Woodland, California, USA Oct 6, 2009 Pours hazy gold with a little white head. Aromas of mild fruit and very light funk? Medium body with sturdy carbonation. Seems a bit orangey, has yeast spice, mild fruit hop, maybe no funk. It’s very Belgian, but in a rather light way. It’s "thick" and more sweet than otherwise. Pretty good beer. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 20, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent strongly carbonated light orange colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was leatherey. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of hops fruity sweet and candy. An OK brew just nothing special. jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Sep 12, 2009 (bottle). Cloudy gold color. Medium white head. Light malt and lemon aromas. Light citrus and alcohol flavors. Avg duration. Very smooth finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Spare lacing. arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Sep 8, 2009 22oz bottle poured into a snifter. The color was a slightly hazy orange with a scant white head. The smell was earthy and sweet at the same time. The taste was very heavy on the honey. It got to the point that all I could taste was honey, This beer also had a dry mouthfeel but I could not taste the alcohol. There was just too much honey flavor in this beer; I almost poured it out.

Nice color, nice aroams of honey, bread and some spice and nice flavors that come together: honey, some peach and a nice spicy finish. drpimento (785), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Sep 4, 2009 oh yah, it’s ok. Sound of it’s a lot better than the execution. Got it at Sam’s in Chicago. Poured with a small to medium head and a little lace. color is a clear yellow gold. Aroma is heavy on the candy sugar. Flavor’s the same. circus peanuts included. Body’s ok, ditto carbonation. Finish is so so. Not really my cup a tea. WhatNewinBooze (15), Centennial, Colorado, USA Aug 11, 2009 I brought this 22oz. waxed capped Belgium style Pale Strong Ale over to a friend’s house and happily sipped it away for hours. When you first pour it you notice its hazy golden yellow color with a thick creamy head. The aromas come off sweet with notes of caramel roasted hops, citrus and apples. The palate has a sugary sweetness with yeasty, honey, and fruity flavors surrounded by caramel roasted malt that leads into a long, slightly bitter finish. With such intense aromas I was expecting a little more from the palate, which I found to be a little flat. Nonetheless, this is a wonderful craft beer for the summer time.
