SKA Watermelon Wheat

This is a Christmas present from my freinds from Montana who recently visited the Durango brewery. Thank you. This one pours a hazed apricot color with a modest, fast depelting head. Residual lacing is good. Total watermeoln on the nose but it’s hot, you’re at the end of your river rafting event and reaching for four hour old watermelon. It’s not fresh. Medium nectar with ample residual effers. BIG watermelon flavors persist. Thats all I taste except for some acids and strawberry. The finish id bittered proportionately. This is a very unique and interesting brew. I’ve never had a watermelon beer before this. I have to say I eat my fair share of fresh watermelon each year but this is a little on the soggy side of the taste spectrum which is not altogether the best.
