Dec 5, 2008 0.5 l bottle. Hazy mahagony color, very fizzy appearance. Bready and peppery aroma with dark rye bread and cocoa. Sweetish flavor with caramel, warming alcohol, rye bread, cocoa and nuts. Too sharp carbonation.

Sep 30, 2008 Bottled. An unclear orange-brown beer with a thick bubbly tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, dusty hops, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel sauce as well as light notes of spices - especially cinnamon. But also with a light alcohol burn on the tongue and palate, though the body is thin.

Aug 14, 2008 Bottle. High creamy and lasting ligh brown head. Hazy dark brown body. Strong roasted barley malt aroma with coffee and caramel. Pretty carbonated malt flavor with coffee and caramel as well as a good deal of hops bitternbess. Alcohol well hidden. Long bitter sweet aftertaste.
