Jul 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark caramel / brown colour with a short lasting brown head. Aroma is caramel, roasted, dark fruit. Flavor is again roastedness, caramel and the alcohol is also very present. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Oct 18, 2007 Hazy dark caramel. Light off-white head. Caramelly, toasty malt-oriented nose with raisin muffin nuances. Nicely hoppy in a flowery fashion, but the breadiness stays upfront, at times taking a ricey leaning. Let’s call it pooridge-like rather, but the thing is that it is unfocused in maltiness and quite oily in mouth, the whole of which feels rather heavy as alcohol fumes overtake the finish.
