Golden to orange colour, big white head with an orangey hue. Cloudy with floaties when the sediment is poured in the end. The aroma has malts, honey, baby porridge and over-boiled vegetables. The flavour has a substantial malty sweetness, possibly sweeter than any other pilsener I have had, with notes of honey and some fruit. Soapy finish, moderate Tettnanger hops in the aftertaste. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber-orange with an off-white head. Sweet, grainy aroma with notes of cooked vegetables. Sweet, grainy flavour. Mildly bitter. Slight metallic notes. Notes of hops appear as it warms, but not a lot. Finish is grainy mixed with a lingering bitterness. Too much carbonation. Not very pilsner-like. 12-08-08.
