Commercial Description:

Tap. Medium brown body. Small white head. Dry hoppy aroma, fresh fruits, no sweetness. Very bitter flavour, some hops, can feel the alcohol. Almost a little watery in the finish. (Skagen Bryghus, 070709)

Bottle. Haket, Gothenburg. Orange colour with a white head. Hops, citrus, nutty malt, a bit of fruit. Hoppy and dry finish. Not bad, not great.

Bottle. Cloudy orange, fine bubbles, low head. Light peach, strawberry and pine nose. Dry pine and grass entry, a bit fruit, metallic finish, a few peachy and light banana esters retronasal. Fairly sparkly medium to light body.

On tap at the Brewpub, Skagen, Denmark 19-09-08 Pours light amber colour. This is a reasonable stab at an IPA but the bitterness is softened too much and once again whilst its pleasant it really isn’t very distinctive or that exciting. Sweet citrus, some fruity tanginess with a bit of unripe orange, its once again just ok.

Draught@EBF2008. Goldeny amber colour with small head. Aroma is fruits, grass and some mild malty notes. Flavour is nice fruits with hints of honey, earth and grass. Closer to an English style IPA than a US one...

Draught No head left, clear orange beer. Honey, very faint hops, rather discreet nose. Dry, nearly wry beginning, bitterish hops, finishing on citric notes. Medium bodied, sample bit flat. Interesting taste profile, certainly for the poor kegging. Not bad.
