[Bottle @ Odense Tasting, 14th February 2009, remembered for Carsten BeerMouths fantastic 3 meals highend gastronomy.] Although it’s long time I’ve tasted these brewdrops I remember it as more a bock bier as an oktoberfest, but a nice one indeed.

50cl bottle. Thanks Rene. Pours cloudy orange with a egg white head. Nose is sweet malty. Hay and caramel. Medium bodied. Tiny alcohol notes. Very much like a heller bock. OK

Pours muddy orange with a small, creamy, white film head. Aroma is sweet, light caramel and brewing cereal. Highish carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is quite sweet, light caramel and fat maltiness. This is definitely closer to a Heller Bock than an Oktoberfest. Still quite pleasant.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Hannu N and Timo A! Slightly hazy orange color with small head. Sweet, caramelly, toffeish and slightly yeasty aroma with fruity hops and weird menthol scent. Sweetish, caramelly, honeyish and toasty flavor with fruity hops and somewhat coarse bitterness.

Bottled. Thanks to Thorvald Haglund. Unclear orange colour with low, cottony head. Doughy, light toasty malts in aroma with bit of sweetness, the latter seems typical for this brewery. Very soft mouthfeel with noticable fruitiness and subtle, subtle suggestions of diacetyl along with a mild tone from flowery hops. Light, light papery bitterness. Not that bad!

It’s an unclear, dark orange color and the head is small. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, berries and fruit. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of malt, red berries, caramel and the finish has a slightly spicy, citrussy bitterness.

Draught. Low and quickly disappearing white fluffy head. Hazy yellow greeen body. Weak barley malt aroma with a touch of hops. Heavily carbonated sligtly acidic but not especially hoppy flavor. Long bitter aftertaste.
