Roasty sweet aroma. Dark brown pour, thin head. Lots of roasted malts in the flavor with underlying sweetness, a touch of bitterness in the finish. Pretty tasty.

On draught at the brewpub in Mt Vernon, Washington. Pours an opaque dark cola brown brew with an average sized, creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates to an off white ring and film top. Aroma of toasted dark malts, a touch of chocolate, and a hint of mocha. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of toasted dark malt, light chocolate, some roasted nuts and a touch of citrus hops. Finish is semi-dry with a toasted malt aftertaste with some mild bitterness.

On tap at the brewery in Mt. Vernon, WA--Poured a dark brown-black body with a medium whitish head. Roasty, dark fruit, coffee, nutty, caramel nose. Carbonic yet smooth chocolate mouthfeel. Very nice!

Bottle… Pours dark and sits pitch black with a mid-sized, frothy, off-white head. Terrific, small, tight retention. Roastiness abounds in an aroma that provides warm notes of coffee, nuts and chocolate. Full-bodied and silky-smooth with vigorous carbonation. Balanced nicely by chocolate sweetness and minerally bitterness. Singed and caramelized, chocolaty finish. Bottle provided by mgumby10!

Pours dark brown with a big, foamy, well retained light brown head. Smells pretty roasty, with big doese of dark and caramel malt, light bitter dark chocolate, and subtle hops. The flavor is more on the roasty side than anything, very creamy on the palate and extremely easy drinkiing. Some hoppiness is evident in the finish, but the malt and roast dominate this brews character. Solid little porter.

Bomber from Bottle Trek. Nearly opaque brown color with a decent tan head. Toasted/roasted malt aroma with some chocolate. Medium plus body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is smooth toasted malt with a little bitter. Make that a fair amount of hop bitter. Fairly smooth finish. Excellent porter. Finishes dryish.
