This pours a hazy dark orange with a tan head that starts out rocky, then evaporates in chunks leaving islands of bubbles and a sheet of lacing behind it. The aroma is a quiet sweet caramel under a heap of resinous, earthy, and orange blossom hop scents. Medium bodied. The flavor begins with some sweet malts but is soon overwhelmed by pine and orange zest bitterness. The finish is sticky sweet with a prolonged bitterness. Okay.

Bottle shared with biegaman, Hogtown Harry, and Blankboy, courtesy of Harry. Dark hazy orange, fluffy small white head. Where are the hops? All malt aroma, a hint of spice, bubble gum sweetness, but no hops. Taste - at first, yep, normal IPA, average, and then BAM! One of the bitterest things I have ever tried. Where the hell did that come from? So oily, resiny - long fresh hop finish - Terribly unbalanced. Neat delayed hop taste, but I like this only as a novelty - I would not want to drink it all the time.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, biegaman & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a cloudy dirty orange with floaties and a small diminishing white head. Aroma mostly of bitter hops along with sweet malt and some fruit. Big resiny hop flavour with a delayed incredibly intense bitter finish -- acidic and astringent even. Medium bodied. A decent IPA but somewhat one-dimensional and a little unbalanced, and that finish is almost unpleasant.

Bottle (650ml). Shared with biegaman, blankboy and tupalev - my bottle. Poured murky orange, small head, floaties, don’t care, looks awesome. Bitter funky herbal and tea aroma, sour fruit. Taste - bitter; friggin’ sharply hoppily bitter, a massive acidic delayed-reaction bitterness, long, long bitterness burrows down into your tongue - pretty much nothing else, harsh resin bitterness. Average body, then masses of acidic/astringent bitterness. Very simple but interesting.

Bottle courtesy of 11026. Orange-copper in color with huge off-white head. Over-carbonated. Nice balance of pine resin, orange zest and huge malt backbone. Flavor is very astringent, tad past it’s prime maybe. Has a cardboardy/soapy affect going on, covering up almost all the flavor. Have to revisit in the future.

22 0z bottle via Liquid Solutions. Pours a dark hazy amber color with a small head. Aroma is of fresh bread, orange, lemon. Taste is of pine, orange amd more pine, with some more pine and then a bit more pine followed by some grapefruit. Wow, this is about the quickest, dryest, chalkiest finish ever. The label does it justice! Some ipas are a grapefruit rind, but this one is an orange rind and a raw crisp pine cone. This is for hardcore pinecone skull and bones hopheads only!
