| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Bottle courtesy of RiversideAK. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of oranges, caramel, pine resin, dough, some earthy hints. Taste yields oranges, lots of bitterness and some earthiness. Not enough malt character or flavor hops to balance out the intensely overdone bitterness. blueturk (68), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 6, 2008 Poured dark copper/brownish with big malt and some hop aroma. Nose pulled me in, but body bitterness threw curve and left an assertive aftertaste. An ok IPA that seemed out of balance. Might need to try again based on other reviews. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Fairly mild hop aroma. Bitter but plain hop aroma. Gold color and it looks filtered. Fairly mild overall. Light body. It could be an older bottle. Good label anyway. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 20, 2008 Courtesy of Skyview. Copper color with a medium head. Aroma of dried tangerines. Dry, grassy hop taste, followed up with a bone dry malt finish. Skyview (4076), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 20, 2008 Picked up a single 22-oz bomber from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington. Pours a semi-hazy orange amber brew with a thin off-white head. Aroma of light grapefruit zest, some flowery hops, and light caramel malt. Taste is medium bodied, with a mild bitter character of flavors of tropical fruit, front yard lawn, and a touch of green vegetables. Finish has a lingering mild bitter aftertaste that is more vegetable than citrus. Though it is still considered an IPA, this one has a unique character. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 20, 2008 Poured from a 22 oz. bottle, purchased in late summer 07. Clear, lightly hazed bronze hue. Chlorine and crystal in the aroma, singed flowers and wet, burnt white rice. Far from fresh and virtually flatlined; hops have succumbed to dry synthetic sweetness of cystal malt, and diacetyl leaks through here and there, weakly. Flavor is mostly old flowers and grass, very earthy with vegetal bitterness and somewhat sour grains. Palate is softly sparkly and light to medium in body; lasting vegetable skin and burnt buttery malt finish. Probably a totally different story when fresh, this one is bracingly unattractive and flavorlessly bitter right now. Thanks for sharing, Bob! BDR (2167), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 19, 2008 Nice orange body with faint orange head. grainy body with faint hops. A little bitterness to counteract the malt. Snojerk321 (2019), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 16, 2008 22oz bomber from bottletrek.com Poured a beautifully hazed orange amber with a medium sized off white head. Nose was a little weak, not much to it, light floral hop aroma. A very balanced finish however, glad I got to try this brew.
