Very nice citrus hop aroma. Flavor is completely dominated by bittering hops, and the more I drank of it, the lower the score went. Sticks a bit too much to the tongue, but is alright as an IPA for hop-heads. hopscotch (5483), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Murky, dark amber ale with a small, creamy, white head and good retention. Vinous nose with note of cotton candy and wildflower honey. Sweet, caramel malt backbone lends more than just support to a hefty helping of bitter, grapefruit pith-flavored hops. This is a rare IPA that seems to feature the malt, with the hops playing second fiddle. Being a malt head, I have no gripes. Medium-bodied and milky with subtle carbonation. Finishes bone-dry. Kudos to Degarth for providing the bottle. Thanks Joe! fuyajo (225), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 18, 2007 Nice citrusy aroma. Pours darker than I would’ve expected from an IPA; reddish-caramel color -- slightly cloudy. Taste is very bold -- citrusy, hoppy, and even slightly bitter. Once it warms up, it gets really good. Smooth mouthfeel. Finish is very bold and lasting with more hops and alcohol. A very good ale! jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 18, 2007 Bottle: Muddy copper pour with a smaller biege head. Nose is citrus and floral hoppiness with a bit of malt presence. Flavor is dominated with floral hops, light pine, citrus, and caramel malt. Dry, lingering hops finish. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Pours a glowing amber red, with a small white head. Very floral, hoppy aroma. Nice citrus fruits in the background. The flavor is a little spicy, the hops are there too, some grapefruit and bitterness. This beer was decent for a regular IPA. Seemed to need something else though. Maybe a little more balance from the hops would have been good. Still decent though. joergen (8610), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 19, 2007 Amber with a small off white head. Aroma of citrus and piney hops. Flavour is nearing sour with a strong grapefruit flavour from the hops. A hophead delight but under malted for my palate.
