ABUSEDGOAT (1882), California, USA Jul 12, 2008 Amber colored. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, peach. Maybe Bavarian hops here? Maybe I just lost my mind? Either way, it’s a nice twist. Medium bodied, moderate to full bitterness.

Malty hoppy bitter flavor with hints of citrus and also some hints of pine needles. Piny, citrus biscuity nose. Clean, super hoppy flavor yet well balanced. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of burnt carmel, earthiness, pine and light orange zest with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish. CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jul 16, 2008 Pours a transparent orange bronze with a clumpy off-white head. Aroma of fresh orangey grapefruity hops and lightly sweet pale malts. Body starts fairly full and caramely sweet with a nice citrusy bittering and flavor hop balance. Finishes crisp and bittersweet, a nice IPA.
