Commercial Description:
Denne unikke øl på hele 10% alk. blev brygget julen 2005 og har været længe undervejs. Her er den så - kraftfuld, sødlig og blomstret med en viniøs og krydret aroma af bl.a. ingefær og muskat. Vinder ved lagring.

Bottle, bought @ the brewery.
[vintage 2005]
[bottle #1262]
Pours beautyful amber with a big frothy/creamy offwhite head. Nice aroma of spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger... these spices are also apparent in the flavour, with cinnamon being the strongest. The mouthfeel is rich, creamy - prickles a bit on the tongue - it is vinious, but hides very well the 10% - has a hint of hops in the end. A very nice beer, with a christmas feel to it.

Pours coppery golden with a big, frothy/bubbly yellowish head. Fair amount of bubbles in the liquid. Complex aroma, lots of liquorice, some pepper, light cinnamon, quite a lot of nutmeg. Fine mouthfeel with medium mouthfeel. Some plummy malts as well. Impressive, powerful flavour. Light viniousness, some plums, grapes and oranges. Lots of ginger in the flavour and nutmeg has a clear place in the beer. Very sticky finish, where the spices play around in my mouth. Impressive, even though it is far too spiced for its own good.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and alcohol, while the flavor is plainly sweet malty with notes of caramel.

Bottle. Very high and good looking off-white creamy lasting head. Hazy orange body. Powerful spicy and promising fruity barley malt aroma. Bitter sweet and fruity fcoriander flavor with alcohol sneeking up from behind. The alcohol percentage well balanced with the sweetness of the beer. Low carbonation and long sweet aftertaste.

Bottle # 1073 vintage Christmas 2005. Pours a hazy orange colour with a few small floaties. Beige bubbly and creamish head. Sweet aroma of alcohol, citrus, fruits and hops. The flavour is very sweet and fruity with alcohol, caramel, spices, toasty malt and fresh hops. Bitter and dry fruitish and alcoholic finish.

Clear orange, amber colour with a small off white head. Malty, sweet fruity aroma with molasses notes. Malty, fruity flavor with a clear alcohol sweet note. Light dry finish. Seems young and unbalanced.
