Draught @ Kalaset, Copenhagen. Slightly hazy dark reddish brown, lasting pale head. Nose is dark sugary sweetness, little plum and berries, nuttiness, modest fresh hops and even sweat. Similarly sweetish flavor, muddy darker malts, fruitiness, nice bitter bite, some butter in the finish. I actually drank this a brown ale, but it’s an OK brew whatever the style.

Dark red colored with little yellow head. Aroma has hoppy, caramelly and flowery tone, burned and rubbery notes also here. Slight cocoa-chocolate also comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor is more dry with hops dominating, caramel and lemon can be noticed too. Aftertaste is dry still, lemon comes up strongly. Well, decent for being Danish IPA.

Good dense cream-coloured head over hazy amber beer. USA hops, too heavy to be subtle, but still with a certain elegance of dosage. Fresh hoppy taste upon brown cookie malts to sustain the hops. Medium bodied, quite carbonated MF. Good, if not overwhelming(ly balanced) ale.
