Draught at the brewpub
Amber color. Nutty beer, with weak mouthfeel and strong bitterness, light vaniila and aniseed aroma. Unbalanced and not very interesting.

Tap. Chocolate and caramel malt aroma. Amber color with a white head. Chocolate and caramel flavor with a sweet palate. Very light acidic milk flavors on the palate.

Draught @ Bryggeri Skovlyst, Værløse, Denmark. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, brown sugar, vanilla. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (051207)

From tap. Pours golden amber with nice off white creamy head. Aroma is liqourice, cane sugar, aroma hops and a lot of malt notes (malt malasse) in addition to a lot of cardemomme. Flavour that follows has all the same notes in a rather dry blend, plus a vague note of vanilla, going into a bitter finish and a soapy hops flavour.

Tap. Pours a clear brownish amber with a fine staying off-white head. Aroma is sweet with some caramel, some herbs and a little liquorice. Mouthfeel is flat and watery. Flavour is quite sour with a touch of caramel, ends on a woddy bitter note.

Draught. Red-brown colour. Aroma of well toasted malts and spices, some sweet vanilla. Taste is quite different from what I know of a brown ale. It has sweet vanilla, caramel, strong spices and some bitter hops. Rather thin mouthfeel actually.

On tab. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Nice clear brown colour. Roasted malty chocolate aroma, but a bit week. Moderat bitter!!! Average finish, but way too soft carbonated, almost flat.
