| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 28, 2007 From tap. Pours golden amber with nice off white creamy head. Aroma is liqourice, cane sugar, aroma hops and a lot of malt notes (malt malasse) in addition to a lot of cardemomme. Flavour that follows has all the same notes in a rather dry blend, plus a vague note of vanilla, going into a bitter finish and a soapy hops flavour. thewolf (5827), Kolding, Denmark

Taste is quite different from what I know of a brown ale. It has sweet vanilla, caramel, strong spices and some bitter hops. Rather thin mouthfeel actually. HenrikSoegaard (4399), Randers, Denmark
