Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA May 2, 2006 Amber with a white head and sticky lace. Small caramel matls with some fruity hops and bitter notes. Flavor is bitter with hucky malts and a touch of yeast. Light but feels rather full bodied. Fruity finish.
Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 10, 2005 Bright amber colour. Honestly couldn’t get much aroma from this one - light caramel maybe. Fruity, toasty palate with hints of metal, earth and caramel. There’s enough going on here to keep me interested, but the components are not especially cohesive so I can’t call it all that good. BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA May 9, 2005 Sampled draught at the Skye Book & Brew in Dayton, WA Clear copper color, small head with nice lacing. Crystal malt nose, spicy malts. The flavor is in the middle, a bit more acidic than most. Nice flavor though. Finishes clean.
