Cellary butterscotch aroma. Medium sweet and medium bodied with rounede moutfheel. Buttery deep malt with some paper. The malt softness and depth of the malt character gives it many points, but it also feels unclean and dusty/butterscotchy. bhensonb (4384), Woodland, California, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 7, 2005 Cristal-clear yellow color with small white head. Outspoken pils-aroma and some fresh hops in the nose. The taste is refreshing and clear for the style, and has a nice pilsmalt caracter wits a soft hoppy bitterness in the end. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 4, 2005 Very pale gold; virtually no head, just white rim. Typical grain/maltceiling nose. Grains, sweet malt taste, but with a fresh pinch of hops. Very light, watery texture. The bottom-fermenting beers from Slaghmuylder deserve to be unfiltered. Still they always feature this fresh character.
