Golden color, with white head.
Aroma of yeast en fruit. Flavor some hops. Aftertaste is fruity. A very good alternatif for pils. sayravai (3760), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 25, 2006 (Bottled, BBE 03/2008) Hazy golden color (opaque orange with yeast) with a huge (initially like 10 times more volume than there’s liquid!), foamy head. The head later clumps into somewhat Duvel-like clouds. Crisply hoppy, grassy-flowery aroma. Pouring in the yeast makes it a bit De Dolle -like. Hoppy and moderately acidic, flowery and yeasty-lemony flavor with butter and fruitiness. Buttery-flowery vanilla in the aftertaste. Light to medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing, neutral palate. A very tasty, refreshing and balanced easter brew. Either I got a particularly good sample, or else this beer is way underrated here... diabel (1372), Aarschot, Belgium

Flowery aroma of hops with some caramel. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. No so well balanced and a bit soapy. But quite ok. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 18, 2006 Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a lot of sediment. Small white cloying head. Enjoyable caramel ryebread aroma also allowing for a hint of grass. Sweet, ryebread flavours, bitterness sets in from the middle and dries the palate. Light-bodied, fizzy. I quite like this beer, a bit more body would have made it even better. yngwie (5000), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2009 Bottle. There’s some microfloaties in it, giving it a hazy, orange body. Nice off-white head. Fruitysweet on the nose with orange and some lemon, and a tiny sourness in the back. The flavor goes in the same fruity direction, and has some bitterness as well. Medium to full body. Bitter finish with some fruity sweetness. A delicate beer, but slightly boring. And to me, not very Easter-ish. (090213) Dedollewaitor (3756), Odense, Denmark

Pours clear golden with a white fluffy head and lacings. Corn, yeast and spice in the nose. Herbal, minty and peppery. Medium bodied. Quite one dimensional. Ends spicy and hoppy.
