Can via my folks from the Ukraine. Pours pale gold with small white head. Nose of sweet malt, and grass. Flavor is rather sweet, but not corn syrup or as junky tasting as most that I’ve had. Light body with clean and crisp finish.

Nov 7, 2009 Pours with barely any head, smells like wet farts and alcohol mixed into a non-appealing mess. Taste is mostly grains, some syrup, slight alcohol. Very boring, very below average.

Nov 3, 2009 500 ml bottle from estonia. Clear golden body with small white head. Aroma has maltiness and some hops, not much. Some earth too. Flavour has wek malts and hops. Pretty poor one.

Aug 8, 2009 Bottled. Pale yellowish goldenl, not much head. Aroma is harsh grains, wood, grass and quite earthy. Flavour is quite much the same. Quite metallic and rubbeery as well.

Pale yellow color, small white head. Skunky corn aroma. Sweet corn malty flavor and skunky grassy hops. Fizzy. Below par East European pale lager.

Jul 28, 2009 Yet another 500ml bottle of Ukrainian Svitle, this time bought at a kiosk in Odessa and with bb 25.05.09. Tiny, white lacing-head. Golden body. Very light aroma of sour grass. Some citric sharpness in flavour and little more. Papery and metallic to the palate. Vapid impression (16.07.2009).

Apr 12, 2009 Hazy medium gold body with a fluffy white head. The aroma is surprisingly sweet and fruity with sweet potatoes and oranges. The taste is lightly sweet with toasted peanuts and some light hints of orange peels. Actually, this is interesting and fairly drinkable. I am just glad it is a little sweet without being corny.
