mmacleod75 (14), Ontario, Canada Nov 27, 2008 Poured from bottle. Lots of thick head. Nice golden color. Malty smell and taste. Very drinkable, but nothing special really. terrybail (212), London, Ontario, Canada Oct 28, 2008 Updated: Nov 15, 200812oz Bottle from the LCBO
Really nothing special i would have expected someting better form a 20th anniversary beer
patricks110 (198), Alberta, Canada Oct 12, 2008 Overall, not too bad, but is overall a disapointing effort for a 20th anniversary beer. Aroma of cheap and yeasty malts. Taste is plain, malty and overall not pleasant. Overall, a pretty bad effort for a special occasion shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 15, 2008 On tap. Wow, couldn’t they have drummed up something a little more interesting for their 20th anniversary? The answer is, "of course not." Flat, grainy, low-alcohol yet kind of boozy, and that famous washed-out "blah" taste I’ve come to know from Sleeporo. My server was kind enough to pour me a sample before I picked something else, so that was a pretty sweet deal... DerWeg (457), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 9, 2008 Draught at Rectory Cafe, Wards Island. Surprisingly not bad. Pint is rusty amber with fake soapy head, Good fine carbonation. Aroma yeasty and prickly, hints fruit. Taste fruity esters, cherry, hints of lemon. Hops are strange making the hop finish indistinct. Has some of that yesty-fizzy-chemically Sleeman genericness. This makes the palate a bit soapy and drying further into the pint. But do try it.
