| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 3, 2007 Toasty copper color; the dense eggshell head starts at the two-finger level and takes many minutes to recede to half its original height. Crennelated rings of lace adhere as if glued onto the glass. Mild toffee and dark breadcrust aromas with nuances of caramel, bubblegum wrapper, fresh-sawn white pine, and ironlike hops. Sweetish, toasty flavor finishes fruity and with a charred sugar edge. Cedary. Medium body boasts a silken, buttery texture. Clean and "tingly" aftertaste. Not in the West coast style, but a balanced well-crafted brew nonetheless. Mullo (102), Brisbane, Australia

A head that holds well. A certain boquet of flavours present in both malt and hops. undertones of chocolate and citrus. sfhc21 (74), Midlothian, Texas, USA

Has a decent fall-looking orange-brown coloring. Malt, dough and toffee in the aroma. Sugary malty hoppy palate. I liked this stuff, one of the better Sleeman’s I’ve had. Thanks for the trade Ron.
