micker (28), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Jul 12, 2006 Not bad an ok beer for the price. It Is prone to be very skunky. This is probably because it sits around the beer store along time before being bought. If you get a good batch it’s a nice refreshing beer. Sleeman should really put expiration dates on the box, to prevent the beer store from selling old product MrManning (1429), London, Ontario, Canada Apr 7, 2006 Bottle- Another " I want a new ratings" purchase. 18 bottles in a pack, with the expectation of only drinking 1. Sparkling gold pour with a fizzy white head that lasts a short while. Ok aroma of some faint hops and then the corn takes over. Some malt also present in the aroma. FLavours are slightly hoppy with mainly sweet bready malt lasting through the finish. Not really my gig. Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 2, 2004 Swillfest ’04: Pale colour. Malty, bready aroma with a hint of lime. Vaguely malty palate, a little wet. Relatively clean. Radek Kliber (3284), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 2, 2004 Nice, clean malty aroma with some light mineral nose. Gold, white head, that did not lasted to long. Arctic Wolf had strange wet bitterness, could be fault of malt ? In this case aroma promises more than flavour can give. CapFlu (3254), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Feb 18, 2003 Updated: Apr 19, 2004(Bottle) I do not know if people buy this? I bought a case in Ottawa and blew the dust off - another less than exceptional Sleeman beers was my guess - I was right on. Pours a medium white head and a light golden body. Aroma of cheap American Standard. Flavours of very little other than a company's desire to offer more products than they can afford to host. Really, really boring. Finishes with my desire to fill the bottles with water and glue-gun the box re-shut and return it to the place I got it. 18 beers are a lot... 18 crap beers are projectiles! I see you coming down my street... and out my window the remainder of this beer goes!
