Commercial Description:
Remarkably smooth for a full-flavoured beer. Our founder's intention was to combine the refreshing taste of a German lager with the distinctive taste of an English Ale without blending the two.

Pretty solid beer overall. Not too carbonated, allowing for a touch of hops and sweet malt to hit your tongue, but also pretty refreshing. It’s terrible average. Growing up this was what I imagined all beers tasted like. I’m glad that’s not the case, but that doesn’t make it a bad beer.

my bottles clearly had a mild yet fragrant fruit aroma. like a fruit punch with melon and apple. the beer was quite different and it was good! almost moderate body and just a bit darker than in the picture here. this beer was a surprise and i will surely drink it again. it has a clean and genuine fruit note and yet it has a sweetish beer quality. and yes , it is a bit creamy.

Generic beer. Nothing very distinctive of its flavour. Very light tasting and extra fizzy, which I don’t always like.

Not sure what a "cream ale" is if I’m going to define the type by this beer alone. Seems to be that this holds a lot of earmarks as your traditional American lager; smooth, fairly drinkable, but empty, with vague aroms and flavors. Nothing special.

Big shiny offwhite head. Yellow body with lots of carbonation. Thin malty aroma. Malty perfumed taste, somewhat vague. Smooth, clean mouthfeel. Traces of corn and hops. No real aftertaste, just a little metal. It’s OK, a bit of flavour, and no real offtastes. (0.355l can, courtesy of Air Canada.)

Slight sweetness in aroma and flavor with a bit of a creamy palate. Other than the palate this seemed almost exactly like the ’Original Daught.’
