Commercial Description:
Remarkably smooth for a full-flavoured beer. Our founder's intention was to combine the refreshing taste of a German lager with the distinctive taste of an English Ale without blending the two.

Pours yellow to light gold. Sweet corn & rice smells mix with a sour? smell. Taste is starchy sweetness with a little skunkiness. A hint of bitterness and alcohol at the finish. As it warms the starchy sweetness is more pronounced. Very little body to speak of.

Not bad. Yellow. light head and a bit of lace after tilting the glass. Well carbonated. Some malt and hops but corn too. Clean. Drinkable. Bittersweet. Bitter finish. from the Between the Bluffs fest.

ANother average Sleeman product. Poured a nice golden (no head). Barely there aroma. Very dry aftertaste, somewhat bitter. Don’t know where "cream" comes in. Somewhat skunky.

Bottle. Buddy brought it back from Canada. Basic, bland lager aroma. Clear light gold with a good-sized, frothy head and nice lace. Very basic flavor & blah. Tastes a bit like Coors, but not as good. Dry with a bit of a harsh bite.

Not my favorite, but definitely worth trying if you’re trying to cross over to the other side, from domestics to REAL beer. It isn’t actually very creamy in flavor, but it seems sort of lager-ish, in my opinion. It is lighter in body with the refreshing flavor of a lemon sorbet. It finishes with just a hint of vanilla.

The aroma has a smooth cream flavor but the taste is just a little too bitter for a cream ale. I’m not saying that this beer is unpleasant but I expect a very smooth malty appeal in a cream ale, and this just didn’t have it.

Very nice, quite sweet and creamy in fact. Good foam, a little too colder when I drank it, but very bubbly and amber.
