Commercial Description:
Remarkably smooth for a full-flavoured beer. Our founder's intention was to combine the refreshing taste of a German lager with the distinctive taste of an English Ale without blending the two.

Got this 12oz bottle as a gift: Pours a transparent dull golden with a thin ring of fizzy white head that leaves a thin wisp of lace as I tilt the glass. Aroma of semi-sweet, toasty grainy malts and some noble hops. Actually kinda smells like a good pilsner. Body on the other hand is very thin, fizzy, and almost devoid of flavor. Just a touch of sweetness and more of a drier bittering hop finish, but the lively carbonation makes detecting subtle flavors difficult. This wouldn’t be so bad if it were concentrated a little more and had less carbonation.

Not much to this beer. Pours amber with a medium head. Not much in the aroma, maybe some hops. Pretty clean on the palate. A slight bite with a fairly clean finish.

Bottled. Pours with a darkish amber hue, small quickly disappearing white head. There is a nice mixture of hops and malts in he flavour and a moderate palate. There is some dryness in the finish. Fairly good stuff.

12oz.Bottle. Golden color. Foamy white head. Strong aroma of a crisp German lager. Smooth and medium palate. Tastes of a standard English Ale. kinda refreshing. Decent lacing. A good American Summer Beer.

Pale yellow. Palate was a bit creamy though I expected more from the name. Seemed to be a very average beer all-around.

Light gold, sickly grayish head. Nose of corn syrup. Then some corn. And then, possibly, some more corn. Flavor actually has a few hops in it much to my surprise. Is a bit vegetable/herbal, but inoffensively so, and the corn flavor is at least vaguely sweet corn and not rotting corn. Finishes decently thanks to the hops. Not slimy, has a decent palate. Surprisingly not complete and utter crap.
