Lots of corn flavoring but minor traces of hops. Drinkable due to its thin body and piss-yellow hue, but avoidable due to its lack of good-beer-ness. Quake1028 (633), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 7, 2006 Poured into a pilsner glass from a 12oz. bottle. Sleeman variety pack. Pours an amber/orange color, slight head, short lasting. Aroma of hops, though very, very slight. Tastes like a pale lager, as others have said. Very watery. Thin in the mouth. A bit of a bitter aftertaste. Drinkable but seems like would give a bad hangover like any macro lager would. After trying all four, the Sleeman pack turned out to be a huge disappointment. Lesson learned I guess. JK (2967), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Dec 4, 2006 This isn’t terrible but very light all around. Scarcely any flavor or aroma at all, but what is there isn’t offensive, even though it is nothing more than a hint of medium sweet malt. A golden colored beer; basically a fancy pale lager. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 3, 2006 This cream ale pours a light orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is corn, malty and sweet. A medium to light bodied ale. Malts are corn and cereal, some grass. Not much flavor at all really. Kind of thin and watery, sort of like beer flavored water. OK for a cream ale its not that bad..yes it is. Lively carbonation. Lots of corn flavors. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. DJC (238), USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 1, 2006 Very light yellow, with a surprisingly decent head. Slight aroma. A rather thin body, but that goes along well with the flavor. Sort of like a pale lager with a little added bitterness to keep your mouth from going to sleep. Extremely drinkable. But a few weeks ago I’ve drinked another Cream Ale and I definitely liked the taste, quite watery at first, but has a great comeback. this beer is quite tasty, but you certainly don’t want to get a hangover with those.
great beer overall but maybe just alittle too watery. DrinkMoreBeer (21), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 23, 2006 Bottle. Pass it up! The description says "smooth for a full-flavoured beer" - well the flavor police must’ve stolen the goods outta my bottle! Head was weak and fizzy. This was a pale lager-like beer with a pissy taste. All that was missing was the aluminum taste and it could’ve been a Coor’s product. jeffc666 (1898), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 17, 2006 Smells corny, looks a bit better than what I expected. Golden with a lasting sort of white, sort of not head. Tastes far better than I expected, it actually has hops that I can taste in it. The palate is acceptable. This came from a brown bottle not a clear bottle, maybe this is why I found it acceptable rather than not.
