| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 14, 2009 Pours crystal clear yellow, no lacing a foamy white head. Smells of barley and malt, not much going on there, and not much for taste either. I’ve never liked this beer, and trying it now to rate it is no different. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 14, 2009 Bottle. Pours a honey color, with a thin white head, and sadly poor lacing. Spotty at best. Nose is sour grain, hayloft, tart, but not offensive. Palate is surprisingly full, considering the weak nose and blah appearance. fresh grain and grass, hops, biscuit, overall surprising in taste, but still not a solid beer. Unsurprising from Sleemans. drowland (1432), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2009 The smell had me worried, but it’s very fresh and tasty with just enough hops in the finish. lowg (123), Scarborough, Ontario, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 21, 2009 Bottle, opened with a big whiff of skunk. After the skunk settled, it was mostly grass and sweet grain. Pours clear yellow with a thick white head. Grainy and corny flavour finish was weak. AaronBouchard (134), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2009 A beer I have had many times but I forgot to rate it. Light and not very creamy unlike the name may suggest. The best beer out of the Sleeman stable that I have sampled. I find this beer slightly sweet and slightly corny much like MGD. Though this is better then MGD. Cirrhosis (623), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 4, 2009 Yet another beer left over from my wedding weekend for me to review, glad it’s a free one. Light copper body with a tall rocky cap, this was mostly due to the “I don’t give a shit about this beer pour”. Powerful stinky skunk aroma I can smell my glass from a distance away, way to bottle in a clear bottle Sleeman. Corn and rooting malts round out this garbage aroma and speaking of garbage I just smelt old used coffee grounds. Taste is marginally better then aroma, malty light taste with a slightly dark bitter finish. Metallic and corn flavours keep popping up along with some apple in the finish. Beer seems to heavily carbonated to me. Good beer to just slam back when your drunk nothing really to offensive here but unless I get it for free I’d never drink it. Oh gawd the smell just keeps getting worse. Strangebrewer (227), Chatham, Ontario, Canada

Modrate sweet grain aroma. Medium bodied. Smooth, slightly hoppy, sweet taste. Generic beer. AskForJenny (656), Ontario, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2009 An occasional favorite that seems to have disappeared from the local market. Good copper color, decent froth and carbonation, whiskey malt palate.
