| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 19, 2008 Pours a five finger white head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Grassy nose. Flavor is almost sweet, grass, hay some hops. Boring. $1.45 for a 340ml bottle from John’s Marketplace Portland, OR. | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 12, 2008 Draught in Maxwell Plum, Halifax. Golden appearance with no head. Coloured water in a glass with no head and aroma. Disappointing, probably better in the bottle. yarry (370), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada

Pours a light golden colour with a soapy looking head. Aroma is light caramel, some nuts, and a bit of floral hops. The taste is nice and the beer is very smooth. Notes of vanilla and brown sugar are present in the palate while the taste itself is fairly generic. The aftertaste and mouthfeel is where this beer shines.
Nice and creamy! thill25 (218), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Feb 4, 2008 Bottle...poured golden yellow with a slight white head. Good lacing...Aroma of a vanilla lager, and the taste was very similar. Drier finish then I was expecting because the mouthfeel was somewhat creamy. Not a very good beer...wouldn’t buy this one again. yesyouam (602), Fairport, New York, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 4, 2008 Sleeman Cream Ale is a very sparkling, clear, light golden ale with a fuzzy white head that fades quickly and leaves some nice lacing. The aroma is faint and of light grain, possibly some noble hops and a touch of paper. There is something a little corny and farty about it. It is light bodied, reasonably soft, and the finish is a bit gritty. There isn’t really much flavor here. A little bit of bitterness picks up at the end. It’s kind of like drinking water out of a glass that had a pilsner in it earlier. There may be something a bit lemony in here, but i’m really groping for something here. It would be good for shotgunning or beer pong.

couleur blonde blé passablement foncée, mousse chimique blonde, nez de moufette du à la bouteille claire, peu de malt, bouche passablement liquide avec un peu de malt, produit décevant somme toute.
