The aroma is slightly hoppy and slightly sour - I wonder if some sort of brewing cereal has been used. The flavor is sour hoppy, with a dry end and a thin body. MiP (9093), Sønderborg, Denmark

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 11, 2003 Very pale ale which proposes a light corn aroma. Tiny bitterness, tiny notes of hops among other cereals, but far from complex. It lacks of substance, not Sleeman's best. CaptainCougar (5494), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 26, 2007 Got this 12oz bottle as a gift: Pours a transparent dull golden with a thin ring of fizzy white head that leaves a thin wisp of lace as I tilt the glass. Aroma of semi-sweet, toasty grainy malts and some noble hops. Actually kinda smells like a good pilsner. Body on the other hand is very thin, fizzy, and almost devoid of flavor. Just a touch of sweetness and more of a drier bittering hop finish, but the lively carbonation makes detecting subtle flavors difficult. This wouldn’t be so bad if it were concentrated a little more and had less carbonation.
