Commercial Description:
A refreshingly smooth, full-bodied lager, with a subtle touch of all natural honey which creates a slightly sweet finish.

(12 oz. bottle) the darkest of the sleeman variety pack, and definitely the most distinct. as with the others, carbonation is dominant in the palate. this one has a strong carmel & mollasses flavor but unfortunately there are few hops to balance it out. its actually, not to bad on first taste but by the end of a bottle the aftertaste wore on me. comparable to dundee’s honey brown. above all its a macro american lager, so if you don’t expect too much you won’t be disappointed.

Third option from Sleeman, best one yet, little too sweet for me, but expected it for this style, looks better than it tastes, but little stronger than other honey brown I’ve tried

Strange aroma of grass hop and malt and honey? Clear amber color with a respectable white head. Starts medium bodied with a hint of honey, kind of frothy carbonation, moves on to brown malt flavor, finishing lightly sweet, with brown and maybe a hint of hop. Not well balanced, but how many lagers really are? As many as Imperial IPAs? Worth a try if heavier lagers are your thing.

Canadians, eh? Fake Americans the lot of them, some of whom think they’re frogs! This beer is quite frankly rubbish. One can taste nothing other than an over-the-top sweetness. A poor beer; Mounties should stick to hunting beavers and noosing buffalos!

Bad. That is all I have to say. It looks good but once you taste it you will regret buying it.

Not a big fan of this one. A bit too sweet and not enough character to enjoy.

golden ruby, sweet aroma, sweet light malt with a little rich fruityness, but a little clawing in palate, with a drying bitterness
