Commercial Description:
A refreshingly smooth, full-bodied lager, with a subtle touch of all natural honey which creates a slightly sweet finish.

Have had this a million times, but have never rated it. Good standby beer when nothing else is available.

Brown/amber. Promising malty aroma, but the beer never really delivers. A touch of honey and a dry finish. Nice but dull.

Pours bronze with light off-white head. Light honey and nut aroma... thin body... little to no flavor depth.

Tasted 25/01/2007. Oddly itcomes in a 341ml stubbie. Yes, 341ml. From Rumble’s. Copper, collapsing off-white head that slowly disappears. Rich continental smelling malts and a slightly oxidised cardboardy note. I don’t get any honey. Good malt notes up front, a little toasty. Then there’s an astringency at the end that is unpleasant; warming. More staleness shows through on the palate. Could be ok, if it was fresh, but I doubt it is great.

Brown and flat.Clear and slightly sweet. A bit thin with no carbonation and left no lacing. Not brilliant but not bad, and slightly different.

Very hoppy with some honey to the nose. Nice big tan head on a clear amber body. Flavor has definite sweet honey presence with some hops and barley malt. Palate is unfortunately a little watery but other characteristics win over this weakness. Wasn’t expecting this to be very good and I was pleasantly surprised.

Amber colour with some head. Pretty smooth sweet taste. The honey taste is very obviously there. For a lager it had a surprisingly big body and all. Not too bad. I was expecting something far worse than this.
