Aroma is of light honey and caramel malts. Flavor is malty with a touch of honey and a sweet finish and aftertaste. On the palate this is light and carbonated. This is the best beer of the 3 in the sampler pack. Not too bad. Drinkable iambeer (255), Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 17, 2005 A palish brown, with a fair head retention and some lace. I rather liked the appearance slight honey taste, not bad, must agree with beergod, not worth the premium price. mybrainhurts (213), North Dakota, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 9, 2005 Golden orange pour, with a fizzy white head. Faint and boring aroma of light honey and grainy malts. Light caramel and honey flavors. Somewhat sweet finish. More effort might improve this generic beer, as it stands now not a brew worth repeating. beergodd (3), conneaut, Ohio, USA does not count | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 31, 2005 Best of the 3 beers in the "sampler Pack"
Kind of expensive for the quality of beer,Not a bad flavor, slightly sweet, smooth finish with a hint of malt....probably would buy again if it weren’t for the $7.99 Tag. pintbypint (1008), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 26, 2005 341ml clear bottle. Poured amber, with surprisingly good head retention. Even left some splotchy lacing. Aroma is a bit muted, lightly sweet if anything. Some dark malts, a little grainy, honey character is light, but just noticable enough to add a little sweetness. Body was thinner than I expected, a bit fizzy. Another one of those beers I drank a lot of "back in the day"... ooh I still remember the hangovers though. Commodore (112), Ontario, Canada
