I’m almost ashamed to have purchased it. Ron (1039), Rochester, New York, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 5, 2004 12 oz bottle. Totally clear dark honey color, huge fluffy dying head. Light malty nose. Discernible honey in flavor, quite light and smooth, no hops that I could detect. Quaffable and reasonably enjoyable, just a bit sticky...better than average for the brewer and the sub-style, I suppose. Blatz King (150), Whitewater, Wisconsin, USA

Very tasty and for 2 bucks a bottle at the bar I couldn’t go wrong. It got me laid in Fazoli’s parking lot also so I can’t complain! jb (1059), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 26, 2004 Nice aroma and amber color. Zero head or close too it. Good balance of hops and malt with the sweet finish. The honey thins it out a bit though, and overall the beer is a bit on the light side. Occasionally the bottles I’ve tasted have had an off taste, perhaps because of the clear bottle. Aroma is nice. Beer finishes with a touch of honey. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 30, 2004 Grainy aroma with mild honey character. Clear amber-brown with thin white fully diminishing head. Sweet, somewhat grainy flavour. Mouthfeel is rather calm. Uninspiring but not terrible.
