| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 20, 2003 Thick and heavy. Taste gets old quickly. Not bad for a honey-brown. Flavor LINGERS for HOURS. You will feel this beer in your belly- there is substantial weight. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA

I didnt even bother finishing, just poured it out. Stale nasty bitter flavor. Malt liquor flavor abounds, cereal grade malt. Cardboard, tangy sour butter. clear, bubbly, no head. Sour, sharp alcohol and cereal aroma. Backdraft (10), Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 11, 2003 Starts off smooth but finishes with a bitter aftertaste. Not one of the best Honey Lagers i've had. Good Aroma with a distinct flavour to it. Found it didn't have much a honey flavour to it. But, it's one of better beers made by Sleeman. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 18, 2003 Sweet and malty aroma. This has too much carbonation - it interferes with what I expected to be a smooth and sweet lager. Maybe give the bottle a shake to release some of the bubbles! Once you get past that, the taste is toasty with a line of honey down the center of the tongue. Finish is relatively short - the honey went away nice and quickly (I'm not a big fan of that cloying syrupy taste). Not bad, but not something I'd go out searching for. | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Nov 16, 2003 Honey colored with a thin rapidly disappearing head. Skumky and minerally smelling. Generally a metallic tasting beer with a touch of nuttiness. A watery thin texture. Sad finish. A large disappointment. Very hard to finish.
