Maintains a decent white fluffy head which provides nice lacing. Hoppy aroma and taste, but a clean finish. Not a ton of honey present, but in terms of lagers (which I generally don’t drink) this is a good as they probably get. Very drinkable and a popular beer among my beer drinking friends. Not the most flavorful but perfect on a hot summer day when the taste buds want to be refreshed, yet want something darker and more malty than the usual summer beer. Aroma was a bit weak. Could pick up some caramel and sweet toffee but faint. Pour was a nice clear dark amber with a one finger off white head. Taste was not too heavy and crisp and refreshing. Strong carbonation with not much flavor coming through, but a nice roasted malt and caramel aftertaste. Not bad. bp17 (5), , Manitoba, Canada does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Love the bottle, pours dark with a decent head. Perfect amount of sweetness not over powering. I find it to be a bit on the heavy side but a great beer nonetheless. weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England

I don’t like honey, didn’t care for this beer much. Malty, oatmeal, drinkable but will probably never try it again. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Appearance is hazy copper with a well maintained cream colored head. Flavor is sweet malt forward with very low bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a low carb texture. There’s perfect sweetness in this, yet it’s never overpowring.

Served icy cold, almost aroma-less. Beautiful copper colour and not much head to speak of.
Tiny amount of hoppiness mixed in with the malt. Sweetness didn’t really remind me of honey, but no cloying aftertaste and a smooth finish.
