I use to not mind sleeman because they were a Canadian brewery. But now their not even that, their a japanese brewery in Canada. This beer didn’t suck as bad as some mass produced beers. I’ll take it over a coors light any day. canary dog (443), Rutland, Vermont, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 25, 2006 Slightly better than the US macrobrews. About in the same league as Foster’s or LaBatt’s. Maybe a touch finer finish. ferociousgoat (8), Canada does not count | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2006 Pours very pale and clear. Has a supriseingly full bodied head that stays a while. Starts with heavy flower and citrus notes finishing with a fast creamy bitterness. An above average beer, but I would reccomend the Sleemans honey lager before this one. Brewmaster88 (53), Petrolia, Ontario, Canada

I’ll take the cream ale or the honey over this any day of the week Radek Kliber (3972), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 5, 2006 Botlle.LCBO.Pours dull gold with average white top. Yes it’s Sleeman with its signature aroma. Aroma of sweet white sugar, malts and light mineral hops. Medium bodied, fairly soft, smooth texture. Aftertaste had chemical, something like bitter sweet dough notes. Alcohol is well shown and is quiet dry. Sure body is somewhat smooth but rough crude flavour overpowers the positive. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA

If I hadn’t gotten a buzz I’d swear this was a dealc brew. Bland and not very good. However, a smoother, easier drinking beer would be hard to find. Skinnyviking (4171), Copenhagen, Denmark
