This actually surprised me for a light lager, leaps and bounds from other lights, namely Coors and Bud. Some malty, slightly skunked, sweet aroma. Darker yellow color, little head. Kind of a candied, burnt hop taste. Fizzy and quite dry. Dougan (93), Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 2, 2006 "Darker" than most light beers. Foamy head that slowly dissipates. Smells like a Sleeman’s Lager, but taste isn’t quite there. Oily mouthfeel. Good for a light lager. caledonian (367), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 14, 2005 Pours light golden with a fizz, and momentary head. Faint cereal and floral aroma. Not much to speak of in the flavor, pretty much what one would expect, basically watered-down lager. Drinkable, slightly better than most macro light beers.

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jan 8, 2004 This rating might actually be a little charitable. I had this beer - which is essentially unappealing in every aspect - late at night after several hours of painting a house. As a result I think it was more satisfying than it would ususally be - but I guess that's all part of the experience.
