Bland and watery to start, finishing with a very light, slightly astringent bitterness. Light and watery mouthfeel. Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 11, 2003 Very pale yellow color, not much head to speak of. Skunky aromas come out, but disappear after a few seconds reminding that cool bottles don't make good beers. The taste is pretty sweet and a little metallic indeed, must be drunk cold. rkn65 (106), st. clair shores, Michigan, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 24, 2003 Prepared for something worse than this - had heard that Sleeman's was sort of the laughingstock of Canadian brewers. Poured with a little bit of a tinny and metallic aroma - but not totally unpleasant. Barely there thin white head on top of a light golden pour. Flavor leaves a bit to be desired - a bit metallic but with some subtle maltiness creeping through. Flavor fades away near the end. Overall, not bad for a cheap import you can pick up at an Albertson's. Aurelius (2655), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 21, 2003 Stinky malt and maybe corn aroma. Good looking packaging (no mention of Silver Creek here in Florida) nice bottlefeel, handsome (ugh, clear) bottle with an embossed maple leaf and beaver, honey gold beer. Tangy, cidery beer with lackluster hopping. Decent mouthfeel, but the palate was done in by the hanging twang. Fizzy. ravidesai (915), Bombay, India
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 27, 2003 rather bland lager, with a cloying malt sweetness.
clear glass bottle seems like a great way to encourage skunking awaller05 (301), Sharon, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 10, 2003 Sleemans most popular? Seems to be the most blandest of thier brews. Don't waste the money on a sixer try the cream ale instead. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 1, 2003 Light yellow color with a little head that faded like New Kids on the Block. Light hoppy nose with a grain hint. Finish had a somewhat nasty roasted note. Not overly smooth as Sleemans claims and a very basic beer.
