A little grain and some sweetness in the aroma. Sweet, almost metallic taste. Not overly impressive. Gethinbeer (1003), Nova Scotia, Canada

bière lager blonde commerciale. couleur blé pâle très pâle avec mousse chimique épaisse, mais qui ne dure pas. nez vert de houblon mort, la bouche est du même acabit, verte, râche et désagréable. sans intérêt. AWS9 (229), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Still, a pretty solid lager that seems underrated. markas101 (575), Fargo, North Dakota, USA

| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | May 6, 2007 Not much taste here, but has enough flavour to distinguish it from the rest of the macro beers. yayforbeer (648), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 27, 2007 12 oz bottle. This was sold to me as a Silver Creek Lager, but I wouldn’t swear to it, there is no way to tell from the bottle what it is. Nowhere on the bottle does it mention anything other than Sleeman. Clear bottle and amber beer. Obviously bottle conditioned due to the layer of yeast on the bottom. Small off white head and a bit of actual lacing. Aroma of sweet mild malt. Flavor is sweet and mild, with a nice malty texture. Very little hops or bitterness. Very mellow and easy drinking. Certainly nothing remarkable, but decent and drinkable. Reminds me of Newcastle. rauchbier (3002), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 25, 2007 Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze in Brigg. Gold, thin white head and good condition. Gentle grain and a faint hoppy bitterness in the nose, low bitter hop and fruity malt in the mouth and a low grainy bitter chalkiness in the finish.
