Commercial Description:
A rich, well-balanced pilsner style lager. Its extra body gives it extra smoothness with only a fleeting, pleasant after-bitterness.

This is better than what some of you are rating it. Appearance is unimpressive, but man, this stuff has the best nose this side of Heineken tarawa bock. Very floral, almost like a very fine wine. Pours a light bodied with a thick head that lasts the duration. Very nice, light flavor. Light, but not watered down. Whatever strain of malt/yeast they’re using, it works. I had no skunkyness in mine. The malt shines through, but not overbearingly so. Hops are light, and aftertaste is timid. But the aroma and light bodied maltyness come together as a team. I will be buying this again!

A better-than-average pale lager. Aroma is fresh and even a little flowery, palate is crisp with some decent bitterness. As pale lagers go, not bad for a macro.

355ml Bottle: Pours light yellow with semi-high carbonation. Thick head that will eventually stall into a foamy ring, but still sticks around. Aroma is very malty with an unfortunate waft of skunk. Taste is bitter, hoppy, generic. I’ve come to realize Sleeman might be Canada’s most overrated brewer.

Somewhat chalky, grainy aroma. Grainy, somewhat medecinal flavor with the slightest touch of grassy hops.

Une lagre pale assé agréable, facile à boire, un arome délica, un goût rafréchissant. Mieux que la plus par des lagre des gros brasseurs.
