I love Sleeman’s clear bottles. You don’t have to waste time pouring it in a glass to see the color.

Fantastically flavorful. Refreshing and smooth. Great on tap or out of the bottle- this beer is just plain good. I recommend a chilled glass- the cooler, the better.

Do a taste test with this and the silver creek lager, eyes closed and everything. If you can tell the diff and name the beer properly, your a better man than i.

Its not bad, its very light but has the smooth characteristics of a good beer. Its still pricey, but what else can you expect from a steam beer?

An okay beer. Very clean finish with some flavor. Not the best of the Sleeman beers.

Not an offensive taste at all. Very Pleasing, with a smooth finish. Smelled some hops, nthing to call home to tell mother though.

Golden/Orangish appearance with a nice frothy head. A tasty steam but, sadly, it is no longer being brewed. A Sleeman’s insider told me that it was not catering to the ’mainstream taste’ and has been replaced by Sleeman Original Draft. It’s too bad because this beer was packed with a variety of lovely flavours. Creemore Springs or Headstrong Lager are the closest replacements I have found so far. Goodbye to a great beer :(

My favorite sleeman brew (brewed in guelph). Closest to style out of their beers. Slightly pungent with some of characteristic flavours found in the Standard for steam beers - anchor steam. OH yeah, keep the bottles out of direct sunlight or you will smell skunks in any of those stupid clear bottles.
