Ungstrup (11340), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 28, 2008 Draft at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A dark murky golden beer with an orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of hops and grass as well as a light touch of spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of citrus and grass, leading to a dry and rather bitter finish. FatPhil (2347), Espoo, Finland Jan 14, 2008 330ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
Pale blond, huge tight head. Crisp hoppy aroma, raw and dry. Sweet fruity taste. Sharp hoppy taste, but well balanced. More how the Belgians do hops than the monstrosities emanating from much of the US in this kind of style. Gets tastier as you drink it. Very tasty indeed. Ethereal (927), London, Greater London, England Dec 26, 2007 At The Bishop’s Arms, Malmo, 8th Oct 2007. Blonde colour with a small head. Floral, fruity aroma of peach and elderflower. Tastes similar, hpppy and refreshing. Lively mouthfeel too. This is pretty similar to their pale ale, but more biting and refreshing and better overall. fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Dec 20, 2007 Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007 Blond color. Very nice and fruity hop aroma. Dry mouthfeel, a bit of sweetness, good hopping; if it was not for some yeast fruitness, it would be close to a good Pilsner. Good. Jukkabro (2394), Tampere, Finland Nov 15, 2007 Light coppery colored, little yellow head. Strongly hopped floral SB-aroma, again, crispy hopping indeed. Medium bodied. After nice crispy aroma, flavor is too biting and tangy with these hops and flowers, aftertaste turns to dry and grassy with some metal in it.
