Aug 14, 2008 Bottle. Amber color with nice pretty nice white, dying head. Aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, though there’s also a typical Slottskällan aroma of root vegetables, which I don’t find that nice. The flavour is better; sweet, malty with notes of caramel and some slightly warming alcohol. Not a bad bock, but the aroma was not that pleasant.

Jun 15, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of joergen. Clear amber golden with an off-white head and a beige head. Solid maltiness in the nose. Fairly good body with some rather odd ashy accents and a very bitter finish. Not bad but very atypical for a Heller Bock. 160408
