May 15, 2009 Small head. Very malty with a powerful hoppy aroma. Emphasized bitterness, and a rounded charachter. Goes excellent on its own, very well with spicy food or even sweet desserts. One of the best lagers I’ve tried.

Dec 24, 2008 Bottle at home - on Christmas day. Clear golden - big white head. Nice hoppy, soapy, grass, piney, citric, high bitterness, nice malty, white bread, egg, spicy. Very nice.

May 24, 2009 courtesy of Per - pours a hazy golden-bronze colour under a firm and long lasting white foam; the nose shows a solid herbal hoppiness; quite full-bodied, crisp and robustly bitter, very tasty; long bitter and aromatic aftertaste; dry - very nice beer which I could drink in huge quantities

Sep 3, 2008 Updated: Nov 27, 2008(Draught@Pikkulintu) Hazy golden with a small, white and creamy head. Very fresh, lemony-citrusy aroma with light, but sweetish maltiness. Very crisp and original, citrus-hoppy flavor with some pear, and decent backing maltiness. Extremely refreshing palate, yet almost medium body. A fantastic, crisp and refreshing lager. (Draught, filtered) 7-3-8-4-15=3.7. Note: Bottled version was not nearly as good.

Oct 13, 2008 Bottle. Clear yellow-golden body. Little off-white head. Lotts of CO2-bubbles. Aroma is bready. Has a dominant hop-profile. Crispy and dry aroma. Flavor is from lots of hops. Also bready and dry bitter. Well balanced biterness!
This lager is more like a pilsner because of all the dry hops.

Oct 4, 2008 Updated: Feb 5, 2009Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear deep golden, quite small white head. Bready and caramelly malt aroma, with the typical SB potatoe cellar touch there but less pronounced, strong herbal and grassy hops. Nice lingering bitterness. Well balanced. Probably my favourite Slottskällan beer.

Dec 24, 2008 Clear golden with medium off white head. Grassy hops hits the nose. Hoppy flavour with citric, piney and malty notes. Very bitter finish. Why are all lagers not like this. I like!
