Commercial Description:
Ahtanum has the citrusy character one would expect from an American hop, but also some of the woody, tannic notes of classic British hops. 16.5 OG 100(?) IBUs

Draft at the brewery. Dry, Dry, Dry. Not a bad thing. If I had more than two I would be able the taste anything. Was a little darker for an IPA. Had a very slight floral aftertase.

Phoenixville (on tap). Fairly light copper color with an off white head. Slight hop taste, not as much as I am used to in an IPa, but smooth.

Pint at the brewpub. Very weak hop taste with no body to the beer at all. I was expecting more after all of the hype that the IPA series gets. Disappointing.

A very good IPA, but not as good as some of the others the Sly Fox has done with their IPA Projects, copper in color with a generious off-white head, left some nice lacing around the glass, very floral aroma with notes of pine & citrus, medium in body with just a slight touch of malt, huge hoppy flavor with citrus & grapefruit, very dry & hoppy, very dry finish with bitter hops in the aftertaste

Poured a deep copper color with a small, off white head that left spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, lots of floral and citrus hops, light maltiness. Big grassy flavor, various citrus fruits, caramel malts, bitter grapefruit finish. Very refined, one of my favorite Sly Fox IPAs.
