Thanks Chuck. The beer pours to an opaque dark purple body with a fizzy muted pink head. The aroma is wheaty black raspberries. The flavor is kinda like raspberry seeds and whole wheat blended in a slurry. Kinda like raspberries that have been sitting around too long after harvest. The palate is thin, lightly dry, and has a artificial syrupy feel.

dark deep reddish colored pour w/ a tall fluffy soapy pink head w/ no real head. Pretty nasty aroma smells like really bad raspberries and more ick. Palate is pretty thin some coating. Flavor is pretty bland some raspberries some grainy notes.. a bit tart, some lightly dry finishes.. Not very good at all.

Bottle. I had high hopes for this one, but they were quickly dashed. Pours a deep burgundy/red color with a moderately sized head. Aroma is fruity and nice. Flavor is very off. I was expecting much more raspberry presence, but it is lacking. There is a fake sourness present that really seems to disrupt things. Like articifical sweetener.

Appearance is nice... Dark red body with fluffy white head with red tints. Aroma is nice... smells like fresh raspberries. Flavor is average at best... raspberry isn’t as prominant as in the aroma as it’s covered up by a strange sour and bad grain taste. Palatte is light and highly carbonated. Looking through the ratings I wonder if the recipe changed cause they seem to be on a strong downward trend.

Bottle that cost too much. Do you liek diet blackraspberry soda? if you do then this one is for you. Decent aroma but not strong blackberry smell or taste. Too bland and soada feel. Feels like it’s missing something(alot of somethings) to make it right. Disappointing comming from this brewer.

Reads well. Tastes like soda. I can’t figure out why they can’t keep it in stock. I think the brewmaster is on the right track. But this beer needs some fine tuning before it goes to market.

I got 3 of these in trades. Their brews can be hit or miss and this one is a miss. The fruit is overwhelmed but a funky sourness or something. I gave two bottles of this away.

Very dissappointed. This really offered little more to me than your typical x fruit American wheat does. Maybe the fruit was a little more dominant -- which is good, as it blocks out the horrible base -- but it still sat on an ugly, mealy, half sour unrefined grain bed that does nothing but get in the way. It was also not nearly as thick or syupry as I was hoping, a la Raspberry Tart -- which is what every sane brewer should be aiming for.
