The aroma was sweet and tangy berry with a light but noticeable "beer" malt undertone. The flavor was very tart and tangy with a crisp raspberry element and a light malty undertone. There is a tart berry finish. The alcohol is completely hidden. Fabulous. bbp182 (255), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Great smell, fruity smell of raspberries...duh! Alcohol is masked well, taste of an explosion of fruit. A really good fruit beer. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma was that of raspberries. The flavor was fruity with raspberries and very refreshing. This beer makes a great dessert beer. Easily my favorite fruit beer. michael-pollack (2745), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Tasted sweet and of raspberries, but not overly so. Easy to drink. Perhaps the best fruit beer I have ever had, even if it is a ’wheat.’ rhapsouldize (174), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA

Okay, let me start out by saying that I do not like wheat beers, nor do I like fruity beers. However, this beer is wonderful. It’s full of flavor that isn’t too sweet, but very drinkable, and you can’t even taste the alcohol. The appearance is beautiful--a dark, ruby red. I even poured a 5 ouncer into my O-Reilly’s Stout--that’s how well I think of it. Yum. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA

I understand a lot of fresh rasberries are used in brewing this stuff, hence the $18 growler pricetag. Not too sweet and nott too light but just right. Not a fan of fruit beers but this was as good as any that I’ve had. I put some of this in my Hitachino Sweet Stout and it was great. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of raspberries, sour cherries, and caramel-chocolate.
Moderately sweet with nice dry finishing acidity.
Some palatable texture early on, but dries and puckers in the finish.
This is developing very nicely.
