Commercial Description:
A new British-style pale ale, brewed with Ringwood yeast, British Maris Otter malt and a small amount of Crystal malt. A session beer to be sure.

Kicked the Keg at SF P-ville. Crispy, citrus hop aroma with some nice pale, bready malts. Taste was crispy, clean & refreshing. Good work from Sly Fox on producing a really good session brew.

Cask at Brazen Head "Cask Head" festival. Hazy amber, with a bit of head and lacing. Grainy and grassy in aroma and flavor, with some citrusy hoppiness coming through. Pretty drinkable if not that exciting.

Draft at the Phoenixville location, July 2006. A copper colored beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet and quite hoppy with British hops giving it notes of flowers, is it Fuggles?, on a crisp malt background, towards the end notes of caramel appears and mixes in with the hoppy notes which lasts from the begining to the end, which is nicely bitter.

served at the NYC Brewtopiafest and inspired a very goofy scary picture of a fanged fox in the woods. other than that a light, simply, grassy beer that smelled earthy and spicy and tasted grassy and of raw, vegetables. also sort of like trash. a bit rotten, like old lettuce. some grains and malts and citrus hops in their too. s’ok. nothing that stood out.
