Cask at Andys. Golden in color with a thick white head. Sour, hoppy and malty aroma. Citrusy notes. Hoppy and malty flavor. Bready, grassy notes. Not my favorite. I didn’t like it. Finish is malty. Medium bodied. Ok.

Cask @ TJ’s.... Pours a golden with a thick white head... Aroma was a bit of a turn off being slightly vinegarous/sour... The taste did not match the nose, being lightly hopped with notes of bready malts... Finish was thin and oily.... I was expecting more from this beer....

Cask @ TJ’s: Sweet aroma of malts, light fruit, hops, bread, and light caramel. Poured golden/amber/apple juice in color with a medium-sized, dense, creamy, white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Not sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor was lightly sweet. Tastes of caramel, slight grass, light hops, grains, biscuit, and slight pine. Light to medium body. Creamy, smooth texture. Soft (cask) carbonation. Lightly sweet, malty finish is slightly dry. Good EPA.

Kicked the Keg at SF P-ville. Crispy, citrus hop aroma with some nice pale, bready malts. Taste was crispy, clean & refreshing. Good work from Sly Fox on producing a really good session brew.

Cask at Brazen Head "Cask Head" festival. Hazy amber, with a bit of head and lacing. Grainy and grassy in aroma and flavor, with some citrusy hoppiness coming through. Pretty drinkable if not that exciting.

Draft at the Phoenixville location, July 2006. A copper colored beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet and quite hoppy with British hops giving it notes of flowers, is it Fuggles?, on a crisp malt background, towards the end notes of caramel appears and mixes in with the hoppy notes which lasts from the begining to the end, which is nicely bitter.

served at the NYC Brewtopiafest and inspired a very goofy scary picture of a fanged fox in the woods. other than that a light, simply, grassy beer that smelled earthy and spicy and tasted grassy and of raw, vegetables. also sort of like trash. a bit rotten, like old lettuce. some grains and malts and citrus hops in their too. s’ok. nothing that stood out.
