Grapey malt nose with light toffee notes. More fruity malt in the flavor with light caramelization, a note of well-toasted bread and some notable bittering hops. Semi-dry. Overall this is a solid, well-styled Scottish Ale that makes for a decent pint.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 1, 2005 On tap @ Royersford: Cola colored with a white head. Aroma is mostly fruit with some sweet medium roasted malts as well. Tastes like tea, sweet fruit, apple, earth, malt, with biting carbonation. Finishes very bitter and dry. While I like the fruit in the aroma and taste, it just doesn’t fit this style.
