| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 11, 2004 Poured a hazy copper color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma was sweet and malty, caramel and butterscotch, with light citrus hops as well. Taste seems to have lost all its fresh hoppy dominance, it is now balanced between bitter grapefruit hops, and sweet and strong malts. Very full bodied. rhapsouldize (174), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 10, 2004 Tap. Deep amber in color with thin off-white head. Hoppy, flowery, slightly fruity aroma. Leaves nice lacing. Extremely hoppy in general, but nicely balanced. Citrusy, floral flavor. Overall, delicious. pobenohne (504), Northern Liberties, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 3, 2004 Hand pumped at Johnny Brendas. This is a surprisingly good offering from Sly Fox. Followed up a Hop Devil with one of these and this won hands down: great head, lacing, very fresh tasting, well balanced, superb IPA. michael-pollack (2726), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 19, 2004 Draught: Brian O’Riley continues to create amazing brews! This IPA was wonderful. It smelled of Cascade hops, and was a bit floral and sweet smelling as well. Appearence was amber/brown color. Poured with nice creamy white head. Provided big thick lacing. Flavor was pure Cascade. Nothing more, nothing less. I could drink this all day, so needless to say, the palate was great. Also had an awesome dry-bitter finish. Overall, I love Cascade IPA. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 19, 2004 After the IPA was poured fresh hop aroma was evident. Strong lemony, zesty, spiced flavor. However, after the initial taste it became a thin, watery beer. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Apr 14, 2004 On draft, 7.2% ABV. Pours dark straw colored. This one is hopped exclusively with Centennial hops. Great head and lacing. Strong hop and pine aroma. Tastes super hoppy, with slight pine overtones. Wonderful mouthfeel. Finishes hoppy, malty/sweet, with slight dryness, citrus, and honey at the finish. Very complex. An awesome IPA. erway (1002), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 8, 2004 Pours a filtered amber with a good strong white head. Nose of citrus/grapefruit. Very hoppy. Extreme bitterness with a touch of diacetyl. Brewer said that he aimed for 100 IBU. May not be well balanced but if you love a really hoppy beer, this is spot on. obxdude10 (1563), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2004 Amber color, nice bubbly & soft white head, huge hop nose, very hoppy flavor as well, but it was just a bit too overpowering, the balance as way off, not enough of a malt character to balance out the huge hoppiness of the beer, the hop character was great, but if the malt was there to back it up this beer would have been fantastic, it just lacked the malt profile to backup the huge hoppiness, the finish was overly dry but nice & bitter & hoppy at the same time, this beer would have been better with a deeper malt inclusion
